Exclamation 14's wont fit over front disk conversion!*#@?!

I just completed a front disk conversion on my '70 Cutlass Supreme. As I expected, the original 14" Rally rims don't fit over the new calipers. Any suggestions on how to get the original rims to fit? Might I use a 1 inch spacer and if so, where would I source the products? Any comments or suggestions greatly appreciated. Please reply to brownron1@prodigy.net

NEVER use spacers or bolt circle adapters on your car unless it only drives from a trailer to the show room and back. I hope you visit our site again and see the replies. Your life, or at least, your car could depend on it. Adapters and spacers are BAD NEWS! Oldsguy used some once and only ended up bashing his fender in when the wheel came loose on the road.

Cheap adapers have the problems mentioned above. A good set of adapters are as safe as any wheel. but will cost more than what it would cost to buy 15" wheels that will clear.

your original rims were designed for drum setup so either get spacers like mentioned above or buy a set of 14" that are designed for disk brake or 15" rims

You can get 15" rallys fairly easy

Bosco, is that '56 a more door? What kind of project is it? Racer? Under restoration? Hot Rod? Just wondering.
