Car Show - 75 Hurst

WE had a small car show in Rowlett very near my house today (probably 3 miles). It was perfect weather with blue sky and in mid 70's. This was the first time out for the 75 Hurst and it did well and took 1st place in the 70's class. I had a lots of positive comments and met a couple neat guys I was parked by. The big show is in two week which is the Veterans Day Show in Bastrop, Texas. There will be 400 cars in that show. Several of us from NTOC go down and it is the most fun event of the year. I am looking forward to taking the new car on the road.

PS: I bet you will never ever park next to a heavier car than that Torino wagon. That has to weigh 4000 pounds easy I bet. Looks like a super nice wagon. Nice that it survived. But lordy that tailgate likes some bacon.

You will come to love this car on the road. Power, handling and style.

Get used to "hearse" Olds comments.

Only 4000lb? Notice empty weight of a 76 Custom Cruiser. Heavy metal.
