Sunday I ran from Rhode Island to the south west Adirondacks, to a town called Moorehouse. Ran across I-90 to Amsterdam 5 to 67 to 30A to 29A to 10 and finally on 8. Running up Route 10 was an amazing ride. The picture is in front of my dads cabin. Coming down in the Monsoon wasn't much fun. The fan didn't do much to keep the windshield clear. Time to get the AC working again.
My wife's family has a camp about 30 miles North of you between Lowville and Stillwater Reservoir. We haven't been there in a couple years. Sadly, the place is falling down and even though it's split between about six cousins it's cheaper to spend a weekend in a motel than than it is to pay our share of the property taxes and upkeep. We're very close to getting out of our share of it. My kids will miss it but not my wife. No running water doesn't make it that much fun either.

I've been lost in Stillwater, came to a restaurant at the end of the road. Got directions back to 12 from there. I'm hoping to get into the class in Seneca Falls at the State Fire Academy next June. I'll let you know if it works out. Did you ever get the job in the Bronx for CSX?

No, it’s falling apart like your dad’s place. It’s a log cabin and the corners are shot. There’s really nothing that can be done.
Ive been lost out towards Stillwater too. It’s hundreds of miles of wilderness with no cell signal. I used to carry an old satellite handheld GPS but now I know my way around pretty well.

The contract for the CSX/ Major Deegan still hasn’t been awarded. We start a small project at the north side of the Throggs Neck in early September though.

Nope when your from Queens that's Upstate. Its roughly 1-1/2 hours west-north-west of Albany.
