The wagon they crushed - so that Clark Griswold would be "forced" to buy the Family Truckster, now that was tough to watch.

Love it. Great Second City actor; John Candy was Second City, as well. Good stuff.

This detail has been mentioned before. If you look closely, you'll see that they are two different wagons. The crushed one has painted over rust rot that you can see quite clearly, especially on the tailgate.

Die Hard is also a Christmas movie, so you should watch it, too.

I wanted to have a shirt made up for my wife that says "yeah, but daddy says I'm the best at it..." but she told me she wouldn't wear it!

The library at the college I attended in the '80's used to get National Lampoon. I'd sit in there all the time reading them and doing my best not to laugh out loud with tears streaming down my face. Funniest stuff you'll ever read. The best piece I remember involved Eddie Murphy, Lou Costello and a handgun. That original Vacation movie captured some of that, along with Animal House.

Airplane! Airplane the sequel. Fletch, Fletch Lives, Hot Shots and the sequel, The Naked Gun movies, I love them all!

My wife use to roll her eyes eat any family gathering because my brother and I would quote one liners or phrases from those movies.

I need to include Scrooged (Bill Murray) in my Christmas must see movie viewing.

I created the thread because the movie contained an Oldsmobile & was expiring from Netflix at end of month; but, I like the direction it's heading.

Beverly D'Angelo was great. Talented actress and not afraid to get topless. Winning combo.
