Some of this looks like Hollywood computer generated stuff, however; as a former Navy meteorologist, I know the destructive forces of tornados are real. A number of years ago a tornado struck Lancaster TX and it did pick up 18 wheeler trailers and threw them around like matchsticks. I was crossing an overpass over I35 when it first came down, did a small amount of damage right in front of me. Lifted and continued north to Lancaster where it did the most damage when it came back down. These small shelters that they sell to put in home garages will do nothing against wind forces generated by these storms.

That is what I thought was the most fake, the expression on peoples face as the twister bore down on them, too many smiles not enough crying and peeing of pants. Also the steadiness of the photography was too good for hand held cameras. It did look realistic though.... Tedd

those people are actors. that odd looking guy next to the tornado was in the dodge hemi truck commercials years ago. "Hey that thing got a Hemi"

Cool video somewhere on You Tube with a train getting hit by a tornado. That's real. I'd upload it but cannot figure that one out. Someone with a non Mac, can you help out?
