Indeed. I was born and raised in Staunton. So sad.

Nooo!

They always have awesome cars posted for sale on Hemmings. I hope they can at least salvage parts from the cars destroyed in the fire.

Hopefully they were insured accordingly... Although it's not always about the money loss, more importantly to others it's about the American automotive history being destroyed...

I was just there about a month ago. This was their main building and it housed some of their best cars. I think the other buildings are ok.

Did you take any pics you could post? Does anyone know what they had in
the bldg. that burned? Sucks, kinda like the Corvettes that got swallowed.

I have driven by there many times but never had the chance to stop in. either had people in the car who weren't interested or were too far behind in schedule. Bummer. Was always the highlight of the trip just driving by and looking what was outside.

I have been there numerous times. It is about a 30 minute drive from me. They had those cars packed in there tight. Huge loss.

I hate seeing stuff like this. When a classic car is gone it is a part of history that can't be replaced. Very sad.

Just watched it on the news. Rows and rows packed like sardines all burned. When I sold my black cutlass they asked me to leave it while they listed it. Hell no. This is exactly why I never let mine out of my sight.
