Y'all may remember my debacle on the 72" Harbor Freight roller cabinet last year, when it was delivered on a 30' tractor trailer that couldn't get into the yard.
After cancelling that sale I kept waiting for it to go back on sale. Instead, the price has increased by $500 🤯
So- back in August HF had a 25% off Inside Track sale and I got the 56" roller. Local store had an orange one in stock, store manager knocked off another $10 to move it. Got a local towing company to rollback it out here eliminating all the delivery hassle, $60 well spent considering it weighed 800lb crated and the driver helped me uncrate it.
Two weeks ago there was another 25% off sale so I got the orange 14.5" end cabinet. It came in Saturday. Going after it this afternoon.
56"+14.5" = 70.5" cabinet. Very small difference in capacity vs 72" and cost $500 less.
Yeah, I'm a scheming geezer!😼
Now the fun begins, transferring 50 years' worth of tools to them!
And yeah, I know the three empty Craftsman chests will tempt me to buy more tools...👨🔧
Tools are the worst. I have multiple sets don’t judge me. I worked two full time tech jobs for 3 years yeah I was dumb hahah and a crap load of car specific specialty tools that will just collect dust now

Maybe you should start a tool rental for the special tools.
My advice is get a 44 gal trash can and place it between the two chests and dump anything you haven't used in the last 10 years into it, Close your eyes as you drop stuff in and don't look back. I know I won't live long enough to use 80% of the stuff In my garage or gun shop, but it's hard to throw away old friends, but you will get your garage back..... Tedd

lol lol you may have a point lol I have a old gm kit for the quad 4 engines lol missing the wheels ignition harness and front crank seal tool as that’s all that was really used out of the kit

I don't think anyone on here (or anyone who works on stuff anywhere) can sit in judgement.
I was looking thru stuff a couple months ago and realized I have six sets of combination wrenches. Six. Who the hell needs 6 sets of combination wrenches? And those were just the SAE! Then there's the GearWrench set, and the stubby set, and the...
I got 2 full tool chests in an auction not to long ago. Wanted the tool chests. After winning I pulled out all of my tools and sorted them. Kept the good in my garage the worst went to my shed(where you always need something but it is in the garage). The rest got split up between my business where they are getting lost. My son he just moved out and needed some tools for his new house. The rest to my son in law because you always need more tools. Worked out well if I don't get anything else but that is doubtful.
Tools are addictive . My shop box is stuffed I need an end cabinet now. My box at home is all old husky tall and narrow lol but I don't use any air tools at home . Just standard sockets and all my engine tool stuff.
Fortunately I am through with grandma's house; for a while, there was a never ending stream of old, cool stuff that I couldn't throw away. I'm going to spend Thanksgiving reclaiming my back porch and moving it to a storage unit.

800 lbs? holy s%@t! Was it full of tools? The boxes look pretty nice I admit
Yeah I thought 800lb was heavy too but that's what the spec sheet said it weighed crated for shipment. The end cabinet is close to 100lb. This ain't lightweight stuff. Seems I read some of the HF boxes are made in Canada?
Copper has a P-I-G hog 🐷 and a Triceratops🦕 in his box too...
Took the drawers out of one of the Craftsman top chests for transport and can't believe the amount of utter crap that's in them. No idea why I saved some of that stuff. "Might need that someday..."
