Lightbulb Recruit Jay Leno to the site??

So any ideas on how we can recurit Jay Leno to the site then convince him to let us visit his garage??

I know...I know; he's a big time busy comedian, BUT how cool would it be to say that you went to work, got bored (on lunch time of course), oh yeah...and had a friendly chat with your good buddy JAY LENO!?

If you don't like Jay then we can make a two pronged attack and see if we can get Kimmel or Letterman too.

(By the way; I was initally going to say Megan Fox, but my dreams were dashed before they began! She's too famous now. )

Well, he does have that '66 Toro that was converted to rwd with a GM block putting out 1000hp, so we could let him in providing he dumps the Chevy motor

Yeah, the RWD Toro has a Chevy motor in it. That is blasphemous.

I would say Jay Leno is either Norm or Mugzilla.
Norm was gone when Jay was having all the show problems?
Jay is back and Norm is back.

Years ago Jay Leno did a skit on his show where he bought a car for $7 at some middle-of-nowhere car lot. That car was a '75 Ninety Eight Regency sedan! He had Alexandra Wendtworth drive the car cross country (and back I believe) and it did just fine! I think they ended up destroying the car on the show but I'm happy to say I didn't see that episode.

PS...I say if we can get him to join that would be great! He would probably be an incredible asset to the forum. He must have a ton of leads for parts, etc.

And get Megan Fox while you're at it.....actress of the decade she is not but she is smoking hot!

The best thing jay did for the toro was to make it cool to have one again. Jay was second with the rear wheel drive in a toro Hurst was first. But the toro did its job and most of us drive fwd cars now.

Maybe he has a facebook page, we should send him some links to show him what he's missing!

Here's the video of the '66 Toronado with it's designer David North.

Someone sent me an email and didn't hide the other names.....Jay Leno's email was among them, not NBC's, but Jay's. Not sure if I still have it.

Jay comes out every year to the All GM Show. He showed up in his Eco Jet car this year, same as last year. In 2007, he showed up in the Toronado and parked it with the Oldsmobiles. I managed to get his attention and I took a pic of him and my buddy Spence standing next to his '65 Cutlass. AllGMShow2007030.jpg 0708071044.jpg
