R.I.P. Hall of Famer TOM SEAVER......
Known to have had an advanced form of dementia for a couple of years, Hall of Famer
TOM SEAVER passed away yesterday.....
At home in California with his family, Tom had already withdrawn from all public appearances for the last couple of years....
I was at the old Yankee Stadium in the Bronx on August 4th , 1985... As a Mets and White Sox fan, I got to enjoy Tom's talents three (3) times....
And on August 4th, 1985, I sat right behind the White Sox dugout to watch # 41 Win # 300....
All numbers were *** 41 *** that day, as the White Sox won 4 - 1, Tom pitched a complete game, gave up 4 hits and 1 run, struck out 4 and walked 1.....
R.I.P. TOM, God bless Nancy and the family......

Growing up a Phillies fan always hated the Mets. Classic pitching duels between Steve Carlton and Tom Seaver both hall of famers. Amazing to watch them work. RIP
