Chile beer is one of my favorite flavors. Back in the eighties I worked with a guy that invested in a brewer that made Chile beer. This was in the early eighties. Had to be one of the first Chile beers brewed. It was so good. Even had heat to it.
Growing up in Colorado it was Coors this Coors that. Every party had a keg of Coors. Silver bullet this .. I will never ever buy a Coors anything in my life.
Whereas we on East Coast couldn't get Coors till early 80s unless you knew a long haul trucker who went west and would bring you back a case. "Smokey and the Bandit" was based on smuggling Coors back East.
Coors Banquet is a good everyday beer. Always liked Pearl and Olympia too, again because it was tough to get here. Course with all the mergers, most beer is too similar now. That had a lot to do with the rise of home brewing and craft beers. I still think some of the flavored beers are ridiculous, and pumpkin is at the top of the list.
So im in the city today an my kid says lets go to starbucks, ok so we get there i say whadda ya want, pumpkin spice latte is the answer lol i roll my eyes an say ok. We order that an some other stuff bill is like $21 all i have is a $50, the cashier tells me they cant accept bills over $20 do i have anything else? I do not so we leave. Anyone else see the irony here? My order was over $20 lol i should said i dont accept bills for coffee over $20.
