I ended up going today after getting some free tickets from my wife's uncle Ronnie Kaplan.
I think I confused this show with another one, it's much bigger then I was thinking.
Lots of cool cars. I ended up meeting up with a few guys I talk to frequently from the Nastyz28 forums.
Alot of nice clean oldsmobiles were there. Mostly 1969 and 1970 442's and Cutlasses.
I think I'm going to break down and just buy a C6 Vette to add to my collection.
Saw a murdered out Grand Sport Vette 100th Centennial today that just got my attention so intensely.

I hope that is my gold 442 in the picture. The best way to tell is the actual firewall stamps from the original photos spell my name L EE . Pace car Jeff pointed that out to me because I had never noticed. You can see it in the picture above. I met many from Classic Olds and missed a few too. Sorry to miss you window sticker Jason and a few others. All nice people with great stories and cars. Glad to be part of this group and thanks for all the advise and help during the restoration to allow Sue and I to bring home the gold.

the ironic thing is, not only do you have pics of Lee's car, but he's in the background of one of the shots of his car
2009 was class of 1969 display
2010 was class of 1970 display
2011 was class of 1971 display
Lee, it was nice meeting. That is a beautiful car.

Most of the cars had a sign that was printed for them and was against the tire etc. They had the owners name on it. My brain was so cramped from taking about 150 pictures I guess I couldn't put 2 and 2 together. Oh well, see you next show. Man that car is nice. A memory just flashed in my head. A woman with a crappy little camera was taking pics of the engine and looking at her camera while I waited to take a few of the car myself. She just looked at me like, "You can wait." I was confused at that point. I took the photos and moved on to the next Olds which is in the background. The 69convert W-30, 4 speed.
