Cars of Hurst display @ MCACN Chicago show.

If anyone is in the Chicago area on November 20 & 21 think about checking out the Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals, at the Donald E Stephens Convention center in Rosemont, IL, www.mcacn.com
Among other items, they are having a special 'Cars of Hurst' display, my 1969 H/O was invited to be part of it. Among those taking part are one of every year Hurst/Olds, including the 1972 wagon, 1974 Actual pace car, 1974 Delta 88 & 1974 4 door, 1977 prototype and Doc Watson's 1988 prototype. Also participating will be both paint schemes of the 1969 Hurst AMC Scrambler, 1970 Hurst 300, 1972 Pontiac SSJ Hurst, Hurst Hemi Under Glass, Hurst AMX and the Hurst Hairy Oldsmobile. Some newer Hurst offerings as in 2009 Hurst Challenger's and 2010 Hurst Camaro's will also be a part of the display. Doc Watson and Linda Vaughn will also be in attendance.

I've heard there may be a '68 H/O convert there too (a silver/black one, not the gold/black one)...

Yes, that car has been added, don't know all the details on it yet but from what I've heard it is a correct Z Z PNT car, I believe Karl Sarpolis is aware of the car.

I haven't lived there in 7 years, but they sure did when I use to. It was even on sale (something like $5 or $10 for a weekend pass)! Only real deal there was in Chicago.

Well, the show was fantastic, the Cars of Hurst display had a huge amount of real estate right down the center, was really a sight to see. Doc, Linda, Hairy Hurst, Hemi under Glass, pretty awesome, and a beautiful line op of Hurst performance vehicles!

A buddy of mine Angelo started posting pics and I just added some as well, check out the following link.
