Sorry I guess this was the only pic I have of my dog on my phone lol

Okay story time !!

When my wife first brought him home he could fit in my hand and it was a fur ball with eyes . my two middle children had never been around pets. They were 3 and 4 years old . They would scream and climb up the walls to get away funniest thing I had ever seen to this day

The best story with my big dog tucker was when we first moved in. He is a very shy timid dog kinda skidish it's a trait from the aussie in him . Anywho when we moved into our house last year he was so confused scared and didnt know what was what he did not like it. Well one day i come home from work kick my shoes off feed the dog and i open the fron door to get the mail. Well by the time i grab the mail and turn around to come back in the dog darts out the door . Im trying to get him calling ., I might add we live on a busy street and this was during rush hour and in the rain. Im running after him in my socks across traffic about 5 times he almost got hit we both almost got hit . Then finally i started to notice he was limping a bit from his leg which he hurt as a puppy and after a while he starts to limp a bit. I started to get closer to catching him and blip he drats back across the street and goes staright to the house. needless to say i had to yell at him very loudly as I was scared half to death . I have since built a nice wooden gate between the foyer and front door and he also learned his leason he knows not to go behind the gate and barks at one one behind it . I also worked with him not going beyond that foyer. I can now look back and laugh but it had to be the worst 15 minutes of my life.

Here is a video my fiance took she thought it would be funny and it was lol

Meet Mac

Here is my buddy Mac taking a ride in the Cutlass at Christmas. He was in the spirit. Mac is a 110# Labradoodle rescue dog. By the way this was the last ride in the Cutlass as I started tearing it down for resto the next day

I enjoy dogs, but until a few years ago my job had me on the road much of the summer. So I wound up with a couple of cats. When I get the wagon painted I'm going to have to break him of this habit

The real purpose of hood scoops..... keeping the sleeping cat from rolling off the hood! Who Knew???

Copper, that vid is hilarious! You guys all know my dog Tobin. He's in my sig video. Kind of a rough ride for him. Someone pulled out in front of me just as I hit 4th gear. Whoops! He goes EVERYWHERE w/ me! I love him. I had the Vette out tonight and he was jonesing because he couldn't go. Even tried to get in the car in front of me. There just isn't enough room for him! Oh man, he just farted. I have to get out of this room!

Love the responses . I told my girl about this thread and she thought i was bit koo koo lol. Besides the cars i love spending time with my dogs. I get a real kick from them running and playing in the backyard. Them happy makes me happy. I went through a bit of a rough period a few months back and i spent alot of time with my dogs it helped me alot . We fostered a dog for a few months to see how we could handle another dog . It killed me to let him go to his new house. He was a rescue with a hardlife behind him we had him for 6 months before the foster program found him a permanent home. Very very loyal dog. We named him diesel and he had the energy of a locomotive diesel engine. They asked us to participate again but i dont think i could do it again. parting with an animal is harder than i thought.

OMG. I had a dog named Diesel as well. He was also a rescue dog that had lived a hard life. that was until we adopted him. I named him Diesel because when we walked on a leash he pulled like a loco.

We have 4 dogs.

Rusty our 18 year old Husky Greyhound mix.

The picture of her on the couch was taken 5 years ago. The picture of her wearing a shark fin was taken in October.

Our second oldest is Hot Rod. She is 6 years old and is a Pointer/ Pit Bull mix. We rescued her from the pound. The gentlest and most loving of any dog I have met.

She has a heart on her hip and that is why we named her Hot Rod.

The first picture is of her as a puppy and the second she was following around a customer and her son. They stopped and the little boy gave her a hug and she kissed him.

She is our ambassador and most photographed dog and even has her picture on our website.

Our youngest is a rescued Black Labrador that is 1.5 years old named Hemi. She is our largest (62 pounds) and very protective of her brother Desoto. She knows when he has had a seizure and will shadow him all over the house and yard for 24 hours.

On Halloween my sister and I put all 4 dogs in my 1969 Hurst Olds and went to a Car Show in Arbuckle (11 miles from our house). We put all the dogs in costumes and they all strutted around. Rusty was the most proud. Here is a photo of them.

Rusty was a shark, Hot Rod wore butterfly wings and a tutu, Desoto wore purple bat wings and Hemi wore dynamite from the Road Runner cartoon.

Oh, if you put there names together we have a Rusty Hot Rod Desoto with a Hemi.

Great to see so many people getting rescue dogs. Mine passed away a couple weeks ago. Now I will only consider another rescue. I believe they do know how good they have it with one who takes care of them. I'm looking at a couple this week.

Rescue animals usually are the friendliest, most loving, and the most loyal ones. We rescued B.B. from an animal shelter. We found him on petfinder.com. It's a great way to search for your next best friend.

Here's our Cocker Spaniel Sophie who we rescued. She loves the sound of muscle cars and goes to all of the shows. The first two photos are from the first day we picked her up at 10 weeks old. She was a little tired after going for a walk at the beach and meeting other people and pets, therefore, she needed a nap. The toys were the same size as her. She is now almost 4 years old, but she only weighs 16 pounds (as opposed to 25-30 pounds which is normal) so she would be a small block. But she is totally healthy.
