Oldsmobile Show in Olds, AB.

We had our show on Saturday and everything went great. 75 cars showed. Got to meet 442scotty and Allan R as well. Long Distance Award went to a fellow from Port Coquitlam, BC (Vancouver), and the Oldest Oldsmobile at Olds went to a 1939. Here are some pictures'

Hey Ken,
Looks like a good turnout on a great day. Where were you getting the aerial photo shots from?

Ken,
I stopped by the show yesterday. Looked like a pretty good turn out. Some very nice cars there.
Got to talk to John and take a look at his nice 56 Ninety Eight.
I stopped by your car a couple times, (very nice by the way) but didn't know exactly who to say hello to

Bret

Looks like you had a great turnout. Wanted to come to this one but a medical proceedure got in the way. Next year I'll be there

I gave my camera (Nikon D70s DSLR) to a club member. It was his job to take the pictures. He asked the dealership owner if he could go up on the roof to take some shots. They say "sure". He took about 100 pictures of the event.

John is a good guy. He's a long time member. I'm sorry I missed you. I was making announcements, changing CD's, giving away door prizes. Also when you're president of a club a lot of people want to talk to you, so you make time. Then some guy wanted to interview me about the show. Not really sure who he was but his camera equipment and microphone looked professional. He was making a video of the event that he could possibly sell to members. Anyway, thanks for the complement on my car. Maybe we'll see you at the show next year with your car?

Thank you Ken

I know what it's like being the president of a club and organizing events. Nothing gets done without leadership, hard work and a ton of volunteers. Hat's off to Ken; you and your team pulled off a fantastic car show. A real tribute to the work you did - the number of cars this year was significantly higher than any previous year. The good word's getting out. Again, Congratulations on a job well done!

More pics of what good organization brings in......

Thanks Al. I had some good people helping and even had time to relax. Thanks for coming. Not many people drive 125 miles to a car show and don't get the long distance award. In a few months, I'll start planning for the 2010 show.
