I got word that Bill Weissmann passed yesterday, he was a long time member of OCA, and a founding member of the North Texas Oldsmobile Club, RIP, and Rocket On..He will missed by many Olds folks in North Texas..

Yes thanks Lance. He was a good guy, enjoyed spending some time with him at the North Texas Olds Regional and a few Nationals. I think he still had a 72 Cutlass convertible? I know he sold his W-30 years ago...

Yes, it's blue white top? Bought new from an Olds dealer out in East Texas. Once upon a time I recall that the Olds dealer's family wanted to buy it back from Bill?

I had met Bill a couple times but really did not know him. He had been sick a long time. He was a nice guy.

I was a member of NTOC when it was chartered and president in 1990. The NTOC was originally named Dallas Performance Olds Club, before the OCA charter. I don't remember Bill being a member then. Bill was very knowledgable on Oldsmobiles, especially the 68-72's. Nice guy

I became an NTOC member in 1999, and Bill paid for my 1st year!

I had joined in ‘99 as well, He was very kind and knowledgeable. I would routinely run into him at the ballpark for swap meets. Once he had gotten sick, (quite some years back) his physical limitations prevented him from enjoying the hobby. I’m quite certain that his soul is at peace. It is all that we can ask for.
