I was at Harbor Freight today and found one of these on sale for $69.99 so I thought I'd take a risk and try it. If it works as described it may be a great way to see into those places just out of reach.....

For an extra $100 they have one that records the images. I don't have time to play with it today But will keep you guys posted when I can.

I bought a similar one from Costco they work well I have checked for leaking head gaskets and bent valves with one

 

I'd like to know how it works post your review ASAP.
FWI I got one of their $69.99 saw blade sharpeners that I wish I hadn't took a chance on.

I decided to take a flyer on one as it looks interesting and useful. I am having it delivered as they will ship it to me for less than it would cost me to drive to one of their stores.

 

I thought about getting one of those, just because they are neat and affordable.
However, I passed since i did not have an immediate need.

If you need an image saved, see if you can shoot the screen with a digicam on macro...

I like it! Even though it does looks like something familiar Allan!

It has two LED lights on the end, the screen is clear enough to read the printing on a fuse box easily. The wand will flex by hand, but stiff enough to hold that shape. It would have been handy locating the fasteners that first time I pulled a 70-72 dash assembly! Yeah, I don't see myself using it a lot. But for the price its a nice item to put in the bottom tool drawer. For that once in a while use it will be handy to have.

I had a busy weekend, so yesterday evening I tried it under a dash board. When I use it more I'll add more comments.

 

I also almost bought one. The thing that discouraged me was that, on the one I looked at, the probe was a bit too large to go in a 14mm spark plug hole.
