Good morning everyone.

Pretty good surprise getting out over an hour early this morning. Don't mind it a bit.

Allan the grease doesn't get through the suit, it gets past the poor fitting elastic on the ends of the sleeves, and if the zipper isn't all the way up, and of course grease gets in your hair, all over your face, on your shoes, etc.

Read in the Wall Street Journal that the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York has been sold to the Chinese. That's really too bad. Shame on Hilton for doing this.

Also read that a plane crashed fighting a fire in Yosemite. Man that's tough. The article didn't say what caused the crash, but the pilot died.

Well Friday tonight, guess I'll hit the sack and maybe get up a little early this afternoon. Supposed to be a nice day again, and I'm guessing I'll see more than I want to.

Have a good hump day everyone.

Mornin', all. 5* warmer this morning, up to 65. Assembled our new Weber kettle yesterday evening after the ol' gas grill going up in smoke a few weeks back. We have one in GA and I really like it... just the most basic full size one. Threw a couple burgers on, and better half had a few eggplant she asked me to do up (I don't eat them). So I obliged. All came out great. Also got me one of dem chimney starters. It's much quicker than the heating element, and I had one I used for my smoker before Katrina. Worked like a champ.

Nice to actually get the worm, eh Mike?

Clint, sorry to hear it doesn't sound as if your day is expected to be a "Peak Experience." You'll be in my thoughts & prayers today, brother. Hope it goes much better than you're expecting. But gee wiz, glad I ain't the worryin' type! Thanks for that warning. It's just a little tickle in my throat, hopefully. I'm sure if your heart begins to fail, you start retaining fluid in your lungs, and the cough would be emanating from there. To the best of my knowledge, my ticker is fit as a fiddle. Thanks be to God, that's one problem I don't have. My spine looks like the letter "S"; but the ol' ticker's good.

Whelpt, y'all have a great Rodan's -- oops!, Wodan's -- day. (Especially Allan.) Runnin' down to da' big city for lunch w/ a friend, check on the house (supposedly "final walk-thru" for the buyer today), and possibly test drive a car or two. I hate to say it, this real estate agent we have is no great shakes. We go weeks without hearing a word; then when I contact her, she tells me all the things she "forgot" to tell me. Hope she ain't expectin' no glowing recommendation.

Sorry. I just think about that as a possibility. The Doc's kept telling him he had a cold, or don't worry, but none of them ever put 2 and 2 together. (may have been because he was 38)

It wasn't meant to be bad, but just to look for any possiblilites.

Morning everyone.

Cool and showers here till around noon they say. Like to find this mysterious 'they' who keeps getting it screwed up.

John, Wodens day like you Wodent believe. I have a huge pile of Woden on the front drive. It's all the construction debris from the new deck and flower beds. I just need a day when Richard isn't busy running his old Uhaul truck somewhere around town. Was also wondering ifn you might have some silent acid reflux? Dats also a possibility. I use Nexium for that.

Mike, WTH? You guys have grease wars or something? Can't imagine what that does to the van or car you're driving home from work.

Clint, you get the pains worked out from Sunday yet?

Jim, you a lefty or righty? An howse de Burban shapin up? You gettin it fixed? Wutchu look like witcher ears pinned back by de super model? Enquiring minds want to know.

Dan, I'm using a 12x12 format. Over 18 meelyun points now and climbing.

One of the refineries in the area is celebrating its anniversary today by lowering the pump price to 1980 prices for an hour. Great, I have full tanks in both cars. That price works out to $1.52/US gallon!

Koffee time! Enjoy your day.

Dat's been suggested by my M.D. a few years back, Allan. He wrote me a prescription for the Purple Pill. I took it to the pharmacist and when I got to the register and learnt its price, I left it there. I have to add, however, that I think the doc was just shooting darts at the problem, and that the Nexium salesman might have just put on a lunch at his office.

This is just some little bug I picked up -- certainly not a chronic condition. It's just weird it would come w/ out a head or chest cold first, the way they usually come. Delsym usually works pretty good for me, so I need to go get some. Iffin' it lasts more than a week or two, I'll have to chase down my quack.

Gee, purple pill? Mine are sort of salmon colored. They're not that expensive here. Well at least on my health care coverage they're not. Get better soon John, being sick is bad for your health..

Hi everyone.

Another picture perfect day. Got up early, didn't really do too much but have been relaxed and not in the usual hurry to get going.

I've already got a long list of things to do on my days off. And I've amassed most of the stuff I'll need. Got a few phone calls to make as well, this will be a busy fall.

John are you the lucky recipient of a fall allergy? I get that sort of cough once in a while. Pop seems to take care of it but that's counter-productive to the slimming down my doctor wants me to do.

Once upon a time I had a Mustang with white leather seats. Pretty car(it was blue), but not the most practical for a mechanic. So every morning before I'd head home I would completely change my clothes. You know what, having the top down gets the seats dirty anyway.

I've had it with this wireless internet. It's as slow as molasses. So question for the computer-savvy. Do I get my 2 year old computer fixed of whatever ails it so I can use a regular modem again(at about a buck fifty) or do I spring for a new computer? Have things advanced all that much in two years, mostly with things I could give two hoots about? And where's a good place to buy a new one if I go that route? I'm done with Best Buy. They just suck.

Well time to hit it. The dogs were out before and someone set off a cherry bomb a few blocks over and that scared the heck out of them. Maybe they've forgotten and will go out one more time. Hope everyone enjoys their evening.

Evening all!

Sorry I've been such a stranger lately. Just don't have much energy and I don't feel like doing much of anything these days. Think I'm depressed. There's a surprise!!

I go to the clinic for a 2 week appt. tomorrow. Last I was there he moved me up to 2 weeks instead of every week, which is nice. His assistant yanked the other 2 drain tubes from my groin area last time I was there. The area on the left side still hurts and is scabbed over, the right side is still numb. If it wasn't for my right thigh/groin area, I'd be feeling great. But my right leg really hurts, thigh/groin area is still numbish, burning like, and still swelled up. After I sit awhile, it really hurts when I get up. Takes me awhile to be able to stand halfway straight. I still can't stand straight up. I feel like an upside down turtle! I start out pretty upright, but as the day goes on, I find myself more bent over. I get sooo tired so quickly.

Feels better with all the tubes out. I finally took off that stupid girdle he put me in last Saturday. It feels much better without that tight thing on! My incisions are finally healing now without something rubbing on them all the time. They told me last time I was there to start massaging the abdominal incision with lotion, to get rid of the sensitivity. Every time they touch my abdomen it jerks and twitches and tickles, so evidently massaging it helps get rid of that. I can't really describe what I feel.... it's weird. Numb, tingling, burning.... I don't know.

I've been working on raising my arms over my head - it really hurts into the sides of the breasts when I reach or raise my arms. So I gotta get over that. Not being able to reach straight up is not an option for me!

It still hurts getting in and out of vehicles, except Teepo. She sits low enough that I can just slide right in on her bench seat. No having to raise my legs up to get in. No having those hard raised edge seats hurt me. And I don't hardly feel the road bumps in her like I do in Tincanio. It's like riding on the sofa. Her old suspension is wonderful compared to these newer vehicles. Even Larry's new truck rides like a buckboard to me now, lol. By the time we get to the clinic, my mid section is sooo sore! I was proud that on Monday when I went over there, we were able to park in the garage and I was able to walk across the skywalk and into the building! We've been getting the valet parking, which is expensive, right at the front door cause I haven't been able to walk any distance. So I am improving. I still look like Frankenstein, lol, but that's looking better too. Except my right side and all the fluid or whatever is built up in there. I've been massaging the heck out of myself - don't know if it's working or not. Guess he'll tell me tomorrow. I have to ask him also, what the next surgery is going to be that he said I'll have in 3 months, which would be December.

On my long abdominal incision, I have what they call 'dog ears' on each hip now. It's where the skin at the ends of the incision point out like triangles. I guess from what I've read from other women, they will cut those off eventually.

I'm depressed that I can't wear any of my jeans - I'm still swelled up, and the pressure of the jeans hurt those dog ears. So I have to invest in some sweat pants. I've been wearing a pair I got at Goodwill, and a pair of Nicole's. I can't really do much elastic across the waist, it hurts. Not to get personal, but the only underware I can wear is a pair of Linda's big ones she loaned me. I can't wear my own smaller ones. Eventually, I guess.

I'm going to ask the doc tomorrow if I can go back to work the first of November, and start out with 4 hour days. I just get too stiff and sore sitting long periods, and I can't really get up and walk around in that small office. So hopefully I can start out with half days, then go 6 hours, then move up to all day. I talked to the payroll lady in Houston yesterday and she said that would be ok to come back part time.

It only took those guys 3 weeks to send me a card! I got cards from the other locations. They haven't called or sent me an email or anything either. No surprise there! I'm sure when I go back, Brian will tell me how much he did not miss my fan and radio!! I'm also sure that my massaging my thigh and abdomen area through my clothes will make so much noise that he won't be able to concentrate!! I'm in no hurry at all to go back in there.

So as some of you read on Facebook, Nicole moved to Indiana last Sunday. I've been so lonely this week by myself. I really missed Lin when she left too. I got used to her being here that 3 weeks. It was nice to have someone to talk to. I get lonely. Nicole said she's getting all settled in there. She texted me some pictures of Jon's place with her furniture in it. Damn Larry for being so mean... Jamesbo - I can't figure him out, and I've been trying for 14 years! Talk about your moodiness... don't try to figure out females, either. A waste of time and energy!!

So I've been cleaning in Nicole's room this week. Washed the bedspread and put clean sheets on the bed and moved it to the middle of the room instead of up against the wall where she had it. I've got to dig out the old cans of paint and touch up the walls again after I fill in the nail holes from her pictures. The house is so quiet without her around. She said they all cried her last day of work. They did write her a very nice letter of recommendation, which was nice of them. She said the one girl said if it didn't work out in Indiana, she could come back and live with her, and doc told her she'd hire her back. They really liked her.

Of course she's getting a dog already! They are getting a purebred registered red Husky for $500! She put down a $200 deposit before she left here. I tried to tell her to wait, but of course she doesn't listen. I told her to give it at least 6 months to make sure things were gonna work out, but..... I'd hate to see her lose another animal. She is planning on coming back here for my birthday on the 25th, she can pick up the puppy on the 29th. It's over here in Aurora. I didn't tell Larry. Don't really want to hear about how stupid she is again....

John..... remember last year when I got that cough that lasted over 100 days?? Just came out of nowhere. I never did feel bad or have a cold or anything. Just coughed and coughed. She finally gave me an antibiotic and an inhaler that cleared it up. God that was miserable! Made me hurt all over.

Since the surgery I haven't been wearing my wig. Just going around with my short white hair, lol. I had lunch with Marc yesterday, and he walked right by me twice and didn't recognize me, lol. I told him I'd be the hunched over little white haired lady.. he said he likes my hair, just not used to seeing me with short hair. I look in the mirror and still can't believe it's me.... everyone says it looks nice, but what else would they say, lol? Gee Sandy, your hair looks so strange? This is what God gave me, so be it! Everyone likes to rub my head now cause the hair is so soft. It's brand new hair so it's like baby hair. Just wish it would get fuller in the front. It's wavy in the back and some of it curls up. I really can't do anything with it cause it's so fine and has no weight to hold it down yet. Guess I'll get some gel and spike it some or something. It really has no style yet.

Larry had his yearly check up and all is good with him, somehow. Me and Nicole just looked at each other and said how? How is his cholesterol not high? With the fats, oils and red meats he eats.... his sugar is good - with the candy, sugar, ice creams.... we just don't get it. It's good that he's healthy, we just don't understand how he is! But my blood work and all that is always good too. I'm healthy until they tell me I have cancer, lol. I worry about him having a heart attack or a stroke one of these days. Between the stress he's under and how mad he gets it's bound to happen one of these days.

I haven't brought out any Halloween decorations yet. Don't know if I will. I got some pumpkins and gourds and set out in the flower bed, and hung my little scarecrow flags. That's about it so far. I might have Larry bring down my container of little scarecrows so I can put them out. Trying to be festive... Can't believe Wal Mart put out the Christmas stuff in September! Way to early..... I went to the garden center to get flower pots, and the shelves were loaded with Christmas decorations. Unreal....

Today I went to Ravenna and took Lin shopping. Wore me out. I'm still sleeping on the couch. I tried the spare room bed after Lin went home. I can't sleep flat yet so I used the wedge pillow, but got tired of that. So I came back out to the couch. I sleep pretty good on it, maybe cause of the back - I don't roll around or move much. I dunno. Larry said he was going to advertise for someone to share the bed - I told him to go ahead. I know I'm not ready to be jostled around all night. And I don't sleep good in a bed yet, so both of us would just be kept awake all night. It's been nice not to have to wear earplugs for over a month!

Ok, I'm tired now so I'm going to go to sleep. I'll try to get on more often. Glad you all are doing ok, I do get on and read occasionally. I'll talk to ya later!

Morning kiddos. The new guy has moved into this thread. Guess it's kinda morning....114 am here. Either way. Happy thursday! I saw up a few posts about gas being 3.11, it's dropping like a rock here in okc. Saw 2.67 on the way into work tonight. I need to hurry up and get the H/O squared away and take advantage of the nice cool dense air and "cheap" fuel costs.

Anyway. Hope yall have a great day, I'm about to wake up the neighborhood hood and do what equates to a dyno tune on 4 f108 jet motors. Work is rough sometimes lol

Mornin all.

Sandy glad yer back.

Vandy welcome to the nuthouse.

Jamesbo Blue bell doesn't seem to fit the role of a werk truck.

I had me ear buds in this morning listening to Alecia Beth Moore when I heard a funny noise. Got closer to it and realized it was the carafe` starting to boil in the coffee maker. That's odd. Then I looked and the LCD was blank and the 'on' light was off. then then smell of hot electrical hit me. I unplugged it and then took it out on the porch. makes you wonder what would have happened had one one been here. They sure don't make them like they used to. So looks like we'll go back to one of these till this weekend.

Have a Thursday all.

The nut house is what may just keep me awake this morning. I work graves, instead of going home my boss decided I needed to go to a new class.....torque wrench familiarization class...... good thing too. I've only been using them for 15 years out here.

Oh and I'm from the okc area. About a 1/4 mile north of the tornado and 3 miles west of the beheading... a great place to raise a family lol

Morning everyone.

Got all the fence rails replaced yesterday so I guess today I'll be learning how to play like John. I'm thinking charcoal gray. Spoda be a fantastic afternoon so I'll wait till then to start.

De rental next door has become contractor central. They're starting to be a major PITA with up to 6 vehicles parked all over the place, and sometimes across a few of our driveways. Hopefully the madness will be done soon.

Clint, good thing you caught that. I haven't seen one of them percolators for a long time.

Sandy, quite the novel. Doesn't sound like much has changed around the saga of life with Larry. Recovery from major surgery will take time and you always pay some kind of piper afterwards. Short white hair huh? You'll have to post a pic of the new look.

Jim, they're not for colds - they're for coughing caused by acid reflux. Called Nexium.

Mike, loos like someone else who plays with jets has joined the fray.

Vandy, the longer you're on this thread the nuttier you get.

John, Thors day my friend. How you feeling today? Jim has a good solution. I'd skip it though and try just straight bourbon.

Time to put on a fresh pottajava and hope it doesn't go tango uniform like Clints.

Enjoy your day

Hi everyone.

My plan for getting up early didn't pan out. Got home about an hour early but just couldn't get myself going until now. Eh, better than falling asleep while talking to someone or driving. Beautiful day out.

Welcome Vandy. You live in OKC and you work on jets, I'm guessing you work for the recently merged.

So glad to hear from you Sandy. It's a long road for sure but another day on the green side is a blessing. What a shame, you -have- to drive Teepo everywhere. I can't think of better therapy. Hope Nicole does well in Indy.

Well guess I'll scoot out of here and get something done for the day, now that it's mostly over. Have a good afternoon everyone.

Evening all!

It was a cloudy day today, temps around 50 then the sun made an appearance this afternoon late. Headed over to Bellacino's around 4. It's been nice being able to get to the places early enough to get a parking spot, lol.

The Riverfront is done for the season. Monday was the last cruise over there. I stopped by long enough to get my pic of Teepo, as she was chosen for GM night. It was rainy and cold. Shame it had to end on that note. There was rumor that next year there would be no cruise over there - seems the new mayor and the new fire chief of Cuyahoga Falls was giving Don Sitts a hard time - nitpicking over little things. They came in over there and spray painted red lines and X's everywhere, saying the cars need to stay within their boundaries so emergency vehicles could get through if necessary, etc... there's never been a problem over there. Just someone new trying to mess up a good thing. We bring a lot of revenue over to the shops and such there. But Don got it all worked out, so next year will be cruising as usual. Plus he got almost 500 signatures the one night on a petition we all signed. I'm sure that helped the cause!

It was a cold night over at Bellacino's tonight. Once the sun set, the temp really dropped! My ears were freezing. I'm not used to having no hair to cover my ears.... thank God for the heaters in these old cars that really crank out the heat! Nice and toasty on the ride home. I stopped and filled Teepo with gas since it is only $2.93 over in Stow.

We had to break down and turn on the heat in the house last Saturday. It was so cold and dank outside. I hated to do it, but I was freezing. It was like 66* in here and that was a little chilly... gone are the nice $14 gas bills we get all summer.

I took Tincanio down to Bob at the body shop last week and had her detailed. She really shines now! He also put on those black outside window vent cover things that Larry got me for my birthday last year and they sat in the box in the garage all this time. They look nice and really help keep the rain out when I put the windows down some. I like them. They detailed the inside too - I didn't ask for that - and he had one of his workers bring me home, then come get me the next day, and he didn't charge me anything! He's such a sweetheart. Wish I'd have met him a long time ago..... So I feel better now that Tincanio has a nice coat of wax on her for the winter. I wanted to get that done last year but cancer got in the way.

Had a good check up today at the clinic. The doc says he's pleased with how everything is looking. He pulled more glue off the incisions and cleaned the scabs from my belly button. It looks much better now, lol. He told me to really be pushing and rubbing the swelling in my groin/thigh area now and under the right breast. It kind of hurts, but guess I have to do it. He thinks my lymphedema arm looks smaller since the node transplant. I guess this is a brand new procedure they've just started doing. I have to keep the arm wrapped in the compression bandages (which I hate and haven't used much over the last 24 years, lol) but their job is to move the fluid the arm holds to see if the new nodes will start distributing the fluid like they should. He also had the lady take 'after' pics today. They took 'before' pics way back this summer.

He gave me a release to return to work on Nov. 3rd, 4 - 6 hours a day. He told me to go as long as I feel I can. I'm sure Brian will be saying 'you can't do 6 hrs. today?' I'll say nope. He also told me to start trying to leg stretches as much as I can, and I can start lifting heavier things again, but not to overdo. He has no idea what all I've already been doing that I probably shouldn't have been doing, lol.

I don't have to see him for a month now! Next appt. is Nov. 6th. I have to go see Dr. Rehmus on Nov. 3rd, but fortunately the appt. is in the afternoon so I won't have to miss work my first day back. He didn't really say what the next surgery will involve. He did say eventually he'll trim the 'dog ears' off. It will be nice to be able to wear my jeans again. Sure wish I could get all the surgeries in before the end of the year while my insurance is paying 100%. I still haven't decided if I want nipple reconstruction or if I want to go with the 3d tattoos. I have to read up on all that. Doesn't bother me the way they are now with nothing! I may chose to stay that way. Don't know yet.

Clint.... are you anxious for Sunday??? I am! Can't wait!! This should be a good season. I sure hope no one gets killed off right away.

Well I guess I'll get off of here. Thanks for missing me while I was away. Nice to be loved! I should go out to Blues one day while I'm home - see if they're around. I didn't go to any shows out his way this summer.

Jamesbo.... on that pot roast recipe you posted, what are you cooking the roast in? A skillet? A big pot? Doesn't sound like it goes in the oven?

Ok, well you all have a good evening!

Mornin all

Jamesbo wow, that sir, was an early werm.

Sandy. Yea, I am. I need to get the new tv I bought a coupla months ago, up in the garage. I need to rebuild the top end on the Missus' Suzuki. Looks like Glenn's gonna get it by some of the trailers I've seen. Maggie's been doing some modeling for GQ it looks like. She could talk to me in that Limey/southern accent all day.

Mike and Vandy, My A/P buddy used to work in OKC. He worked for a maint contractor. then Spirit I believe. That was before he moved here then to Chicago. That was the only time I ever had my supercharged F-150 at a lower altitude. That extra 1.5# of boost sure lit those tires up.

Well have a Friday all.

Good Friday Mawnin All

Gonna be another nice hot day here with the GA National Fair in full swing. We took the youngest yesterday and she had a blast. I won her a bear and a ball so she was happy to say the least.

Lady luck may be finally smiling down on me yet. Had an interview and that went well. Today I go show them that I can drive a manual shift and go from there YEA!

Welcome back, welcome back Sandy

Clint are you really going to go back to an old school percolator? Glad you were there to took it outside

TGIF (Thank God it's Freya's Day)

Still even warmer today; up to 67* at about 5:30. No wet stuff expected, but muggy as a sauna.

Welcome aboard, Sandy and Vandy I think the prayers and thoughts are working, albeit in their own timeframe, Sandy. Just think of the progress you've actually made in two weeks.... time does heal....

Whelpt, the lice at the mortgage company screwed up and the lice at the title agency canceled our closing scheduled for today. So now it's tentatively scheduled for Tuesday. We'll see what the excuse is when that rolls around.

Cough is steady as she goes... I started taking Delsym and have been downing zinc and sambucus lozenges and trying to lay off the coffee a bit. Maybe it's improving? Not terrible, just weird thus far and a nuisance.

Anyhoots, a couple friends and I drove over to the MS Gulf Coast yesterday for Cruisin' the Coast. First time I've ever been... 'twas fun, and hot. Tons & tons of cars and folks out. There are 5+ stations the cars congregate at, over a 30 mile stretch. Mike, this couple there had a '56 Hudson Metropolitan (I didn't even know any of them were ever badged as Hudsons) that was incredible. They're from NY and have owned it for 45 years.

I need to take the SF next year... will definitely go back.

Whelpt, gotta' get rollin', boys and girl. Have a great Freya's day, Oldsmofriends.

Few more

How about that redneck camper/home? If you ever happen to see that thing, don't look in the twin porcelain pots hanging from the side

Morning everyone.

'Twas a gorgeous day yesterday and got all the rails and the gate stained. Need to go get some more stain as I decided to try and finish the whole fence before the weather changes its mind. Don't know why but after I came in yesterday my left knee seized up and was very painful all night. Put a compression cuff on it and this morning it's not that bad.

Gonna be a nice 70* here today.

Scot, congrats on the interview. Got my fingers crossed for ya!

John, try Sambuca in yer koffee.

Speakins of koffee it's time for mine.

Enjoy your day.

Good morning everyone.

Been out and about already today. Met my buddy Robert at the Awful house, ran a couple quick errands, and am home and ready for the tree guy to come take down three trees and trim another one up. This I'm excited about.

Lice. John that's a good way of putting it. I absolutely hate my mortgage holder. Seems every month they come up with a new way to irritate me. Love, love the Met. After Nash and Hudson merged Hudson got a few Mets, not many, and when the Nash and Hudson names went away, the car was sold as the Metropolitan 1500 through Rambler dealers. That looks like about a 64 Olds parked next to it.

Scot hope the rest of the process goes well. What ever became of Bluebird? Not much I'm guessing. How's the daughter?

Clint does your buddy still work for that private guy that died, or did his family sell the plane? Sometimes I think it would be cool being the only mechanic for a private person, then other times I think it's nice to have the cushion of a big, faceless company.

Sandy when you go back to work bring a squirt gun. Every time one of those guys says something stupid squirt them. I bet you have to refill a lot. What is the next surgery for?

Gotta move a couple cars so this guy can get his ladders and whatnot into the back. Hope everyone has a good Friday and has lots planned for the weekend.

Allan I hope I haven't hired your roofers. Guy was supposed to be here at 10, calls five minutes after and says he'll be here in a few minutes. Now it's 1230 and no sign of him. One thing I learned in the airline business is people who don't pay very much need to be patient.

I'd be here anyway, just find it interesting that a guy that shows up yesterday with a car full of kids evidently isn't very interested in providing for them.

Now if he shows up with a little dog I'll know I'm in trouble...

Pot Roast/Beef Burgundy

Cutlassgal, Jamesbo...
My pot roast was simmered atop the stove in cast iron. Don't forget to sear the beef in the dry skillet before adding the liquid ingredients. These days, I'd probably shoot some "Pam" (or the equivalent) in the skillet first.

Now, for something baked in the oven, may I suggest beef burgundy. This is baked uncovered in a Corning ware casserole dish.

-BEEF BURGUNDY-
--3 lb. stew meat
--2 pkg. onion soup mix
--2 cans cream of celery soup
--2 cans cream of mushroom soup
--1 cup burgundy wine (today's 750 ml bottle will be more than enough)
--2 cans button mushrooms, drained

Mix all ingredients, and bake uncovered for 3 hrs. at 325 deg.

Hi everyone.

Quite an eventful day. The tree guy showed up around 1, with his "old lady" and a bunch of kids. He got two trees down but spent more time hanging out in his car than he did working. And the kids kept throwing branches, rocks, and loose parts of my seawall into the lake. So of course he didn't finish and has to come back tomorrow. The old lady did say they'd be there by themselves.

Scot good show landing the gig. You'll have to give us the lo-down on the latest Buster Brown trucks.

Up early tomorrow so I can get going and get back. Tree dude promises to be earlier tomorrow.

Have a good night everyone.
