Many of you might remember my post about my car accident I had with my 1970 Cutlass Supreme Convertible. Well it is almost ready to be back in the road again. Here are pictures taken yesterday of my car painted

Here are a few pictures I took today when I drove my car home. Of course it rained... go figure...

I just want to say I told the collision shop to take their time as I am in no rush since I have another classic car (1958 Chevy Impala) to drive around. If it would have taken them 1 year, that would have been fine as I wanted the car done right.

Thanks Nick,
You made my life easier finding the parts I needed since you had pretty much everything in stock. It was a plus since we are both located in NJ and I saved on shipping costs.

What a beautiful repair! The car looks amazing.
I hope you put it inside and wiped all the rain off it right away. I painted my first 72 (Matador Red) one year and drove it home in the rain. Of course back then the paints were either enamel or lacquer. I had enamel. I put the car in the garage and then Dad and I buggered off with the other 72 on a 2 week road trip. When I got back do you think those water spots would come off?? Nope. I had to take it to a pro to have it buffed. Of course now you have BC/CC and the process is so much better.

BTW, it's so nice to see a 70 retain its original look instead of being converted to a W25 hood

Nice work on the repairs, AND a sweet looking car. It looks EXACTLY like my '70 C/S 'vert that I used to have back in the late '80s / early '90s. You car has the same colors (body / top) and wheels, although it is in better shape than mine was. Mine didn't have the rear power antenna either.

Thank you all for the compliments. Yes, I pulled the car in the garage and dried the car and gave it a good cleaning with Adams detail spray.
