Robert Duvall and Donald Pleasence. God I am getting so old!

We're driving, driving, driving on the autobahn A wide valley lies in front of us The sun is shining with glittering rays The road is a gray band White stripes, green border Now we turn on the radio
From the loudspeaker it sounds: We drive on the highway

I was going to mention it was essentially Robert Duvall's first lead role in film acting after he left theatre, but I believe you've already made the connection!

EDIT: I guess that isn't really true. I thought it was but it is not. He starred in To Kill A Mockingbird & MASH, as well.

It's that time again, not only for the Pogues lead singer to get his teeth done. Fats Domino's teeth were okay

well how could we forget this one ?

I saw a interview with the guy who played the kid ( Billy Redden ,he runs a hardware store now ) he said that he did not play, according to him the shirt he was wearing was special made ( the sleeves ) and there was someone behind him playing the banjo.
I could watch this clip 1000 times

From what little I've seen, that must have been a great film. That has to be the one and only film of which I've never had the opportunity to see it through from the very beginning to end.
Anyone into electric Balaikas?

WOW, that is some video, what a concert that must have been. I saw Alvin Lee and Ten Years After and Leslie West and Mountain in 1970. Imaginary Cowboy was classic Leslie. didn't hear much from either after that.

Randy Califonia (Spirit) died in 1997 drowned trying to rescue his son. His estate unsuccessfully sued Led Zepplin claiming they ripped off the riffs in Stairway to from the Randy California /Spirit song Taurus.
Alvin Lee died in 2013 from complications from surgery.

Everyone's taste are different. If we all liked the same things life would be very boring.
But this thread is about what songs/music means something to you.
U.D.O. it is we all need to learn to get along and look past the book cover.
Enigma was the first band that I moved past only listening to 2 mainstream types of music.
Others I posted ,it is a personal thing that happened in my and allot of peoples lives when I was at an age that I was not old enough to understand why or even how this could happen, along with the confusion of your body going through changes.
The biggest one is below and I would crank it a lot, only to fall on deaf ears, and at the time it was a battle cry, but parents don't understand what breaking up a family does to the kids mental state.
So here ya go. it is more mainstream music wise and a band that was huge, but a deep track on the album.
And the words ring as much today as it did back then ,to anyone that is a child and family is going through this.
