To the Moon 8-29-22

Some reading may be following. I thought to share this link if anyone wanted to catch the lift off tomorrow.

I hope the engineering was better than the writing in that article.

I just hope this is the return to the semi-armed-services Texas pilot style of NASA over woke as a joke Space X. I just about kicked something when some bimbo Space X countdown woman started thanking everyone except the fuggin' Academy and cheering woooo when they launched.

Hmmm seems they are having the same issues as back in the 60's, problems arising of all sorts postponing the launch. For sure anyone that rode or will ride in one of these bombs has stones! And I thought the Aliens warned us not to come back to the moon...lol

They're projecting 400,000 people there to watch this happen. That's a lot of people.

Sometime in October now? Was there in the mid/late '80s. Witnessed a few shuttle launches which were quite impressive.

Nice that you caught the lift off. I heard one person describe it lighting up the area so much that you could see blue sky. Amazing
I have also heard reports about using a moon base for a fueling station for a future mars pit stop utilizing water detected there to be transformed and or processed into hydrogen. Any bones to that ya think?

I suppose it's possible. Supposedly the Russian's were first to find water on the Moon; the, NASA confirmed it's presence much later. What there is an A$$LOAD of is Helium-3 - hundred of millions of tons of the stuff. I have no skinny on what private industry (including NASA) may propose regarding a lunar fueling station - I've read much hype about it, but I have no clue honestly. I wonder which item an entity would consider first: (1) A vehicle to use the fuel (for space travel) - I'll bet that's a long, long way down the road; or, (2) creation of a fuel from resources found on the moon.
