Being my wife's a surgical nurse, I hear all kinds of 'horror stories' about burns!
This is REVOLUTIONARY!!
Normally 3-4 month recouperation with a lot of pain is reduced to 3-4 weeks!!!
75% reduction in heaing time!!
I'm amazed!!

OK, for you guys that can't see it here's a brief rundown. The doctor harvests skin stem cells from other parts of the patients body. He then puts them in a solution and uses a "spray gun" to spray the solution on the area with the skin burned off. The stem cells will quickly grown to cover the burned area. He shows an example of a guy burned when gas was thrown on a bonfire, after 4 days the skin appeared to be healed over. The traditional is to put skin grafts, sometimes from pigs, over the burned area. That takes a long time and is a very painful process. Also, since the stem cells are from the patient I'm thinking there's greater chance the body will accept the new skin.
About 30 years ago I guy I knew was in a car accident with his 1960's vintage Ford pickup. The gas tank behind the seat ruptured and he was badly burned. The weeks turned into months in a burn center while they treated his burns. This technology would be huge in treating that kind of injury
For those of you who viewed the clip, did I capture it well enough? If not, would you add what I missed? John
