Hi Kyle,
Glad you made it home and safe. Sorry we weren't able to get together Friday night. I look forward to meeting you and your family in April. You and your family have a great Holiday Season. Tim

Well we made it home yesterday night. A long haul for Kelvin, we are ecstatic to have him back. Not all there yet but alot more mobile. Big sign of relief for us. Was nice the trip home, no snowstorm. Rochester is a very nice place, ready to call the place home. Very tempted. Hey Tim. Yes too bad, would of been nice to meet you. We will be back in April for Kelvins checkup.

Great news........glad to hear that the worst concern is out of the way - the wondering abt what it is. Now that you have the diagnosis you can plow forward and deal with it however necessary.

Hopefully this made your Christmas look a bit brighter than it appeared before seeing the docs. :-)

Well CO, its been a year since we have been in Rochester MN. Our whole family is very greatful for being able to use their services. And we are very greatful to all of you here in CO. With your support we received from you, it made our lives so much easier. Kelvin today, recives a needle once a week for 2 years and is on 5 pills a day. They are going to ease off the pills and see how it takes. Didn't need a cortisone needle last month do things are healing. We still get tears when we see him run, jump and fight with his brother. He plays volleyball, hockey and curling. Such a great feeling to see him do this again. We owe you CO, thanks for being here for use in our time of need.

Kyle, thanks for the update. I'm glad things are working out for Kelvin and the rest of the family. Very appropriate to get this good news going into another holiday season.

Wow, it's been a year already. Sounds like he's doing great.
I spent 5 years at Mayo in the rheumatology dept. doing research. I might be a bit biased because of that, but not only did you go to one of the best clinics in the world, they also have a long history in rheumatology treatment and research.
As a parent, you'll be happy to know that you could not have done better for your son.

Yes thank you for the kind words. We don't regret going to mayo, the service and care we received from them is astonishing. Thank god for mayo clinic. If we had to do it again, we would.

The kick in the Nuggets is when we came back to Canada to our medical system. Showed them our findings from mayo, their response well you don't know if that is what it is. Some times you just want to strangel people.

Hi Kyle, I wanted to say HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you and your family. I just came across this thread last night (I know..a little late to the show ) and it kinda got me choked up how this all came together for you and your family ! I'm so happy your son is on the road to recovery and you were able to take matters into your own hands and make this happen for him despite the "system" working against you. God BLESS YOU and your family and EVERYONE here on CO that gave well wishes and any and all the support that you needed through this tough time in your lives. WHAT AN AWESOME GROUP OF PEOPLE !! Have a WONDERFUL HOLIDAY season !
