Long haul recognition came today

This is for one of the four original Williamson farms carved out of the 1746 land grant. Original part of the house on this one dates to 1803.

Working on getting the other three in the program but it's a little tricky since the family lost some of the land in tax sales during the Reconstruction and again in the Great Depression, and getting it back in family hands has been a slow process.

Breezy Oaks, Sleepy Hollow and Oralee remained pretty much intact except for selling off a few 10-20 acre small farm lots over the years. Carpetbaggers busted Roan up pretty badly as it was the largest and it was prime riverfront farm and hunting land. We've been able to get back only about a third of its original 900 acres.
