I just took a peek at WX and nothing looks severe enough for the flight to be canceled. So on you go to Kingsport! Have a safe journey back.

Currently delayed for aircraft maintenance. Unknown duration.

 

If they end up screwing around and push you to AA 4925, then you could still stop over. Of course that has been delayed too by 18 min, departure at 10:25 now. I can be there in 15 min curbside. Although I bet you might be tired and maybe just want to hang out in the comfy airport chairs. If so, no problem either.

 

Apparently there was an isolated thunderstorm with hail warnings directly over Kingsport during the awards dinner. There was a mad scramble to put cars in the hotel garage that almost resulted in a few accidents.

 

That garage was a little tight in the entrance area.

If worse came to worse and your flight was canceled, let me know. You could even stay here if you wanted, wife and kids still at the beach so they wouldn't hear all the Oldsmobile talk.

Finally! That's good because that later flight they pushed off again. Estimated arrival in TN is 12:24 AM.

Rick it was a hard top unrestored 1971 w30 sliver with black w30 stripes. The car hasn't been out and drove since the 1990. I met the owner this last Saturady at the Augusta ks car show. He is a local guy i just met. He said he drove his w30 to the kings port nats.
