I was sick a week or so back, nothing serious, wouldn't have thought anything about it if the virus thing wasn't on the news every 10 minutes. My daughter who is a nurse went ballistic and insisted that I take a test . Not too a bad idea as I'm a caretaker for my 93 old dad but there were no appointments available for over a week in or around the closest town to me and it takes from 6 to 10 days to get the results. In that amount of time I could self quarantine myself and been done with it my daughter was on my a$$ so I made a appointment in Orland about 35-40 miles away. Finally today the med group called and gave me the news ..NEGATIVE... Whewww drove down to our local grocery store and had a coffee for no reason other than I could....... Be safe out there....... i was supposed to have an in home sleep study for possible sleep apnea.they said i couldn't do it unless i was tested.i said it's in my own house,not like i'm going to the hospital or clinic.bunch of b.s. said nope ain't happenin.

No I got to molest myself while I was seated in my Miata at the drive through this was in a CVS pharmacy. Had to have the top up and the windows up unless they were giving or retrieving the kit for the test. Miatas aren't designed for drive ups especially with the top up. Really not a big deal in all except it took about 5 r 6 minutes and there was quite a line behind me. I felt a little intimidated by the guy behind me when he kept getting out of his truck and walking 1/2 the way up to my car to see what was going on but hell I was Just doing business....Tedd

 

Tedd, If ya go into a grocery store, /Don't let them check your temperature. It's a fake to erase your brain, I went in for bacon and eggs and came out with Blue Bell ice cream and Snickers

 

Our daughter got tested in early March, one of the first group in CT. She's 24, she's like, "dad, I think they were poking my brain with that Q-Tip

 

To late my temp was taken years ago and I'm forever buying goodies that don't match up to my slender profile or was that a half a century ago.

I would have gone to the bar for a beer but we don't have a bar in this town..... Tedd
