Interesting Field Trip on Tuesday

Tomorrow the Secretary of the Interior is suppose to visit here and review a timber harvest in the woods. I'll be driving a van full of dignitaries or reporters, I'm not sure which yet. So for those of you who keep track of the news check out any pictures of this event. If you see a guy in the crowd wearing a 2011 Oldsmobile Nationals hat that would be me

Pretty neat, I remember as a kid I saw a harvest in Oregon my step dad worked as a logger at the time.
Have fun.

The logging industry is a fraction of what it was 20 years ago. This project was planned involving experts on the forest environment with the goal of getting it implemented. Many projects have been stopped with court challenges but due to the way this one was designed it was not. So this may be the way to the future of logging.

Rob... if its got an Oldsmobile emblem on it I'll be back next weekend to drag it home
