I was considering swapping to a manual trans, But my wife said she won't drive my stick. I'm really hung on this A lot to be considered here. I may as well give up on installing a my ram rod anytime soon too. Oh what to do???

Once you go through the ins and outs of your Ramrod install with your wife, it may come to her. Then you can teach her how to drive your stick properly and enjoy the experience.

X 2 to Eric's comments above.
I think it comes down to proper lubrication. Show her how to "drive the stick" smoothly after the box has been properly lubricated, before you try to put the "ramrod in"

Sampson, I been looking all over the place in the garage on the counters in the medicine cabinet even under the bed, the only thing I can find here is olive me oil. I'm going to give er a shot in the dark. Then proceed to plan O.

I dam near had her aboard the blue vessel last night but the tide shifted came in so fast had to shut down both sides of the beaches. Almost had to send my dog lucky in to fetch my stick. I got some hot their for a few min my lighter fell. I saw a few red coals on the seat so I had to jump up and tampon it quick. I'm going to grab a slushy now!!!! Pffft just used up plan T.
