Great Car Show in Waterloo, IL, 2 June 2024, Post #1
Hi guys,
The 2 car events I had intended to go to on Friday evening and Satuday got rained out. The weather was supposed to be really nice today, so I made a decision yesterday evening to head to a Show about 60-miles away today in the town square of Waterloo, IL. I had originally not considered the show because of the distance, but I was sure glad I changed my mind. Beautiful weather (80'ish and sunny), a nice breeze, good food, and a great turnout of really nice cars. Top 25 Format, chosen by the car owners. Each owner got a slip to fill out and got to vote for their 5 favorites. I felt lucky to crack the Top 25. There will be 3 posts with 20 pictures each, so please hold off on your comments until I get all 3 posted. Hope you enjoy the pics!
What a car show. Lots of really nice cars there and more it seems more Oldsmobiles than usual. I really like the orange and white 30's Chevy couple and the orange 46-47 Ford pickup and I am not a big fan of orange cars. Thanks for sharing and congrats on the win.

Thanks for the congrats and checking out the pics! I too was really surprised at the number of Oldsmobiles. Really surprised in lieu of the fact that I was the only one from the St. Louis Old's Club there. Alot of diversity at the Show too, although my pics don't really reflect it because I tend to gravitate towards the early 60's thru early 70's "Muscle Cars" and there were just so many nice ones that I spent my time seeking them out and taking pictures of those.
