ghost towns, trails
ghost towns, trails
For you 4x4 guys After seeing some 4x4s at today's car show I just thought I'd post this, I put it together about 7 years ago after some 4x4 trips i made, the Brown Mitsubishi Montero was my first 4x4 bone stock what a little billy goat she was even stock, she was followed by a little more capable 90 Jeep Cherokee with a lift and locker in the rear. these were fun times, some of these trails have since been closed and the buildings torn down the state thought it was a good Idea to tear down history for safety reasons.

If you take US-2 east out of Ironwood MI you will go through pretty good size towns such as Wakefield , Bessemer , and Gogebic station .
It looks like time stopped in these cities in the late 40's or early fifties . Everything is old .
In fact , time did stop for the once bustling cities , when the Iron mines in the area dried up in the early fifties .
