Anyone see the 66 restomod "442" convertible go across the block today. Very good looking car. The commentator said it was not verified as a 442 but it had all of the bells and whistles. Had some kind of OAI setup on the 455. They said the owner had over $250,000 in the car. Hammered for $79,000.

 

I did not watch, but 250k invested? Does it come with an open minded Swedish supermodel blonde named Helga for driving and other services?

 

I watched that auction also. $250,000 invested sounds pretty rediculous. Obviously a poor investment if true. Didn't like what they did to the car anyhow. Would have liked to see the data plate. Target Red color with black top and interior looked great. Did not like the wheels either.
