Getting around, sort of. Tedd
I've made some progress with my getting around, a new ramp for the wheelchair gets me out of the house and down to my cars, the walker allows me to get from a car to my favorite eatery if a parking spot is close to the door that is. I'm only good for about 20 yards on a good day, but it beats laying in my back feeling sorry for one's self.
Everything I own has a dead battery and with a friend (Frank) we, or rather he, will attempt to get some if not all started today. It's been three months of wet weather, most of them have rather new batteries, but none will start or even show signs of life.
Been looking at the Money Pit and if the top was down I'm pretty sure I could get in it. May have to get AAA to get me out, but the future is looking better for it and for me. I start out patient therapy in a week or so, looking forward to it, I used up my in house therapy and got a lot out of it, time to stretch my legs..Tedd

Thanks for updating us Tedd. You have a great attitude and that is a huge part of the recovery. The physical therapy will do wonders for you. Keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Made great progress today, don't tell my physical therapist, Jumped the Money Pit with my jump box and wonder if I could get in the passenger side seat even with the top-up. Took a while figuring out how to stage the walker and find hand holds to pull myself in, made it happen, filed the progress to memory then the reverse to get out. Not easy but very doable. Hum, now the driver side, did the same plus there was a steering wheel there to help pull one self in. There I sat with engine running and most anywhere to go. Full tank of gas, Why not! Except I still needed the walker if I was to get out, so I managed to drag the walker across my body and wiggle it into the passenger side. Mini road trip to the car wash, lunch with my dad, stopped by the BMW shop and set up a time to have my passenger side window looked at (won’t go up) and it's starting to rain. Lickety-split home before anyone can say you can't do that. Good day, learned a lot... Tedd
