Cutlass/442 Ram-Air hoods

I've got access to an original W25 hood in pretty nice condition, but unfortunately, I think it's for a '71-72 and my car is a '70. I should be going to see it next week in person.

Just wondering what the current market is like for these hoods. We've all seen plenty of the aftermarket versions on cars and some are probably even pretty nice - Thorton. I'm not up on the pricing of originals or aftermarkets but a few years back the '70s were in the $2-$3k range. Are they still in that range? I assume they're getting harder to find but are the originals all going on high dollar restorations? Or are the reproductions good enough that they're bringing down the price of originals for us regular guys?

Would anyone be interested in trading an original '70 for an original '71-72?

71/72 hood

I would like to see it. I’m looking for a nice original 71/72 hood, but will go with a Thornton hood if necessary.
I am not interested in spending a ton of money for an original hood that needs a bunch of work to get it ready for paint.

I'm interested, contingent upon condition and location, if the prior poster passes.

Thank you.

Thanks for the interest in this W25 hood.
I just got back from Denver, and it turns out that my brother's W25 hood is a 1970 version. He gave it to me, and I will be using it on my '70 SX.
