Computer Geek speak

Any of you ever wonder what all the slang terms like BTW, TTT, IMHO, PITA, GMTA and more mean? Gotta say that I recognize some of them off by heart, but there's always a new one that catches me off guard. So I went looking on the web for computer slang. This web page has ads at the top, but if you scroll down, there's a whole wack of computer slang terms that you can use to decipher the acronyms that sometimes get posted and don't make sense.

IAC, HTH when U STW. Anyway IANAL and have found YAA that I'm ROTFLMAO about. Will U CNP? AAR, TFN. BSEG!

Candidly,

I learnt it on another Olds Forum that seems to have younger guys on it and some fairly raunchy stuff.

Not Safe For Wrenches?

They have younger guys on the Cartoon Network site and it's really raunchy compared to this place too.

Allan, you put an "r" in your explanation of NSFW. I believe the last word should be "wenches".

RIGHT!!!! You get a free trip to your trunk!!!

Ralph

I was at a lake & saw a man about to drink water. I shouted: "That's a contaminated lake! You could die from it! He shouted: ( in broken English): I understand you not! I not understand good English!
So... I said "Drink slowly-- the water's cold!!"

JOKE!!!!

Ralph

Typical pre-weekend saying - time for a beer and a girl...
Part of the vocabulary of the AEWPTUAFE (association of engineers who prefer to use acronyms for everything).

Good one Rob, I didn't know that...

FYI, after you've finished your next pub crawl looking for that perfect woman, you might be a little blurry eyed, so I thought you might need this for reference:
