2 days before the kickoff of the 2011 Woodward Dream Cruise I have an electrical problem.I havent driven the car at night so I just recently found this problem.I have No Instrument Panel Lights.After looking into everything including replacing the Headlamp Switch.Fuses are fine.I looked into the fuse Panel and sure enough.The Fuse Panel that I had rebuilt has a loose wire.Not even staked into the fuse holder.
It is the GREEN wire feeding the Light Switch.
After looking at the Schematic I noticed that same wire is involved with the Tail Lights /Running Lights.I do have Brake and Turn Signals.
Now I dont have tail lights and or running lights.I am not an expert on Electrical.In fact I am not an expert at anything.I will not drive the car with this problem.I can send the harness back to the supplier .But then I am out of the Dream Cruise and out of commission for 2 to 3 weeks.

Does anyone have the knowledge to tell me that the IP lights AND the tail lamps are effected by this loose wire .I think I can rig something up.
I can run without IP Lights..
When does it END?

Run a hot wire from whereever you get light when the switch comes on to the rear tail light harness. OR leave the dream cruise before it gets dark.

 

Year and model would help people help you.

Pictures of the loose wire would also help.
