car emblems

just out of curiousity, am i the only one who collects auto emblems? if not, post your collections! i have a few in storage that i dont have photos of (emblems from my old cutlass cruiser, and from a saab 900 turbo) but my most recent ones i got yesterday i have pics of. i have a plan for them, though. once i purchase a house, i will be finishing the basement, and building a home bar. the bar top will have all my emblems on it, and coverd with a clear sealent (cant rememebr the name of it) but i think it will look pretty great as im doing an auto theme bar

Hehe... Lemme know when the bar is open - I would like to stop by for a brew!

I am not an official collector of emblems, but I do have a bunch of emblems that I have found and picked up from the streets, parking lots, junkyards, etc over the past 25 years...

I have many different Olds ones, some Buicks, one Zephyr, several Pintos, one "396", a 300Z (glued on my go-cart ), and probably a few more that I forgot about.
Maybe I should dig them out and post a picture...

No matter what anyone says, we are all entitled to collect what we want.
I mainly collect old nautical / pirate / shipwreck stuff and old stereo equipment. However I am about out of room now...
My ex GF collected feminine clothing and I cannot say I didn't approve of that.

Springfield Muskets/rifles

I'm a nut about the U.S arsenal at Springfiled Mass. The changes over the years and the evolution of the rifle/musket from the Revolution thru WW II are fasinationg and tell a good deal about of Nations history, conflicts, and manufacturing.

LOL. i have a couple hubcaps, too. an olds one is hanging on the bedroom wall found it against a tree, caked in mud. brought it home, sprayed it down, wiped it clean, and she shines like new, albeit with a couple small dings. its the chrome wire spoke with the olds rocket in the middle
