Bye bye spring

Well spring is gone and summer has arrived. I hope most folks still have some nice weather to enjoy before it gets too hot to do anything outside.

Send some of that heat our way. We have had freeze warnings 3 of the last 7 nights in SW Ohio (got down to 26 last night) when the daytime averages should be about 70 and nights about 50. Was wearing a knit cap and gloves mowing my lawn over this past weekend. So much for Global Warming.

Light shower of ice pellets yesterday on top of bloody windy. Minus 6 overnight. Today plus 2 and light winds. Sunny. Not too bad.

It’s nice and comfortable in my house, like around 70. Don’t plan on going outside anytime soon. Has anyone turned on the television set lately? There seems to be some sort of deadly bug floating around!

Must be nice. No gym for over a month! Seems like it's almost like winter getting snowed, rained and blown away by the wind. 3 out of 4 days seems like 40 degree temps while doing my work outs. Getting creative for weights. I am using a 5 step starters bench for a dead lift, shoulder press and squats. I have the old battery out of my Cutlass still and it has a good strap and using that for curls, waist lifts and calf press. Gallon water jugs 2 in each hand for forward fly.

No spring here in Ohio!!!! I've been off work for over a month & we've had a couple of nice days but mostly it's sucked! Still getting lots of F-ing rain & snow flurries + throw in a tornado a couple of weeks ago just for good measure(lost power for 18 hrs, luckily no one was hurt)!! We're usually at least in the 60s-70s by now! I've done a lot of projects around the house, spring cleaning, painting, etc. I never thought I'd say it but I'm ready to go back to work!!!

I ran the AC in the house for an hour tonight to get the humidity down. I think it cracked 80 a couple times recently in the afternoon.

We had a cold front come through yesterday so today's high is supposed to be only 88º. WooHoo!

Maryland hasn't really even had a true spring yet. The weather guys were just joking on the local TV about how only 2 days since mid March have been over 70 degrees and that we have had rain 30 of the last 34 days.

Forecast for the weekend...rain and thunderstorms today, storms tomorrow. No rain on Sunday (but only a high in the 60's). Hopefully, by Memorial Day I'll be able to drop the top and go for a drive. It supposed to be sunny and about 75.

This is driving me nuts! I have been working between 50-65 hours a week since this whole pandemic started, but I finally have a 3 day weekend coming and it will be raining for 2 of them!
