Question Blinker Fluid Reservoir?

I got a case of this stuff for xmas and I can't figure out where to stick it?
Do I need the organic type-f fluid?

1971 Vista Cruiser, 350 w/TH400 and 4 way flashers, no trailer light hook-up.

Save it till summer and take it to a ricer show. They'll be on it like a duck on a June bug. You could stand to realise a good profit!

Synthetic's gotta be better than Organic. Yes, you should make a bundle selling the extra bottles

It is actually for the power steering.. As you turn the steering responds with a slight shudder that twitches the blinkers ...

Didn't you read the back panel..?

It is coolant and contact preservative.

The reservoirs are little golf-ball-sized silver cans under the dash - On your Vista, there is one on the fuse block and one up under the dash next to the column. The come factory filled, but on old cars, the stuff is usually all evaporated out due to disintegrated O-rings. Refill them by removing the cans, gently prying the contact base away from the metal, refill with fluid, and using a new O ring, carefully recrimp the can around the base.

Contacts will last longer with the fluid, as arcing is eliminated and unit runs cooler also.
Maintaining these is a must, especially for those who drive for hundreds of miles withthe blinkers on.

That's funny stuff. I Naval Aviation we always had this joke about sending the new guy out to get 50 feet of flight line, coiled neatly in a bucket....

I cut a plank to short, go to the tool truck and find me a board stretcher! That was always a fun one.

Never I mean never let the smoke out of an electric motor, starter motor or alternator. if you do it will stop working. Only the factory has the tools to install smoke, can't do it at home or along side the road

In the Army we would have Privates throw their Kevlar into the air in front of the Firefinder radar so we could "track" rounds without artillery. Of course, we always told them to throw it higher or farther.

Blinker fluid.

Same is true for laptop computers. Mine tried to drink beer one night and burped out it's smoke, thus rendering it useless. Although, the opposite is true for tires. The pedal under my right foot is linked directly to the valve that releases the smoke from the tires.

I'm gonna have to try that at the parts store to see if they try to look it up.

See my "too many bad apples" thread for how to fix this...

And remember, if you spill beer, you are too drunk...

Me likes this one!! Of course I wish they can make tires that have even a bigger smoke reservoir!

You can also send the newbies to the flight line to get a bucket of prop wash!!
