April 22nd is Earth Day...not the 7th

I'm going to celebrate by driving my hybrid Ninety Eight!

It burns both gas and oil!

After sitting in the garage all winter, it will be nice to enjoy driving it again.

Years ago I had personalized plate I8JAPAN on my big honkin' Godzilla car 76 Regency. I8TOKYO was already taken.

If the antique plates weren't so good from a financial standpoint, I would love to have it back on there.

I love using gas, oil, iron, rubber and glass that the Earth so graciously gave to us to celebrate Earth day. Thank you Earth, for the bountiful tidings. Now can you please do something about these whacko environmentalists?

If you want something to celebrate and a reason to drive your Olds around on April 7, it IS World Health Day.

As custodians of this planet shouldn't we really treat every day as if it was Earth Day??

This is irrelevant to the conversation. His comment was about a particular date, not about whether or not we should be engaging in environmentalism.

Thanks for reminding me about the date. I'll have to make sure I get both of my old rides out for a drive on that day!

I've always thought to myself...the people that actually drive these things in traffic are not very smart! they must have a death wish.

It's nice and warm in Detroit today but windy. I was on I-75 coming up on a Prius and the driver looked like she was holding on for dear life. That thing was being blown from one side to the other....

That's the trouble with all those environmental "solutions"- they assume perfect conditions at all times. They never stop to consider real world.

'Course when your work is done in the insular vacuum of a research lab using guvmink grant money...
