Celebrating Earth Day
Today being Earth Day it is only appropriate that I take part over the weekend.
Tonight I shall drive my V8 powered 07 Grand Marquis north to my girl friend’s house with a trunk full of firewood. We will go out for dinner in her car then return to her house for a cozy fire. Saturday morning I will drive home then take my 2nd V8 powered 00 Grand Marquis out to run errands and for an aimless drive along the coast of the South Shore. On Saturday night I will take out my 1970 Cutlass (weather permitting) for a ride and on Sunday I will continue to drive my Cutlass along some of my favorite area roads, take it on the highway and do some nice burnouts. After a long winter slumber this will be the first really good run for my Cutlass.
Happy Earth Day

Beautimus Earth Day here in Perry Georgia. I burned through 10 gal. 93 octane mixed with 110 octane (80% - 20%) in the coupe. We got about 6 miles to the gallon in the coupe and about an 1/8" off the tire tread. Had a blast though and created memories with the oldest youngin'

I finally got around to dumping all my old engine oil in the creek behind my neighbors house. This afternoon, I went to one of my favorite junkyards & cut the AC lines on all the intact cars I could find. Then I went to the store & bought some 6 packs of cokes with the plastic rings around them & smeared peanut butter all over them & threw them in the woods for the wildlife. Then I smashed all my dead CFL light bulbs upwind from the local kindercare. While I was close to there, I poured my last bottle of mercury in the ball pit for the kiddos to play with. Also threw all my old AA batteries in the creek with the oil. I also am having a bonfire tonight to burn up all the vinyl siding & styrofoam insulation I have left over from a remodel job. Take that earth!!

And DARN - I rode the bike yesterday!!
Perfect night for it though.
And being towards the end of the pack, I at least got to inhale the unburned hydrocarbons of about 50 bikes up ahead! Mmmmm- the smell of fire and brimstone....................
Out club goal this year is 2 million miles, most of those touring miles of course, so take THAT greenies...
