Question is there any such thing as......

a non A/C heater box assembly? I broke my A/C one this afternoon, and I would like to find a non A/C one if possible

Yes, it's called a heater box and it comes on cars that didn't have factory A/C. Note that if you already have A/C, the firewall cutouts are different (at least they are on an A-body) and the heater-only box will NOT cover the holes. There are aftermarket sources for a "A/C delete" box that covers the holes but retains the heater function.

You know, I was looking at air plenums like that because I have been having trouble with my heater and I read that some of those aftermarket parts are difficult to install. Of course, maybe the person who made the post was just an idiot. If you get one let us know what you think.

I'll use that one, unless I can get info on where to find the aftermarket A/C delete boxes
