Gas tank

Hey Folks, Any suggestions on a Fuel cell that will fit a 1970 Olds 98 LS
Cant seem to track down one that will be a replacement. Are there others that will fit decently? Ours still holds fuel but is so rusty on the inside we are changing fuel filters every 2-3 weeks and that is getting old fast

Have you considered restoring the fuel tank you have?

I had considered recoating the inside of the gas tank with the product listed above. I was talked out of doing this by a family member that owns and operates a Garage that specializes in gas tanks and rad repair. He used to recondition gas tanks with this process until he started having those cars come back because the coating would end up shedding off the interior of the gas tank and fouling up the fuel systems in the cars he had reconditioned. Now maybe the product he was using a decade ago was different than this one. Anyone else have experience with this system?

I've never heard of the fuel tank coating products failing like that. I used the product I linked on the fuel tank in my 71 probably 8 years ago. It never failed and clogged fuel filters or the carburetor. I also used the same product to coat the fuel tank in my diesel Ford truck about 6 months ago. It worked great.

Perfect, I know that he was using something in the early 2000's maybe it was an inferior product. I am glad that this one works.
