Intermediate steering shaft seal

While lifting my 70 Conv. body off the chassis, my intermediate steering shaft caught on the engine and pulled the shaft out of the swivel joint, tearing the rubber boot. I found a replacement boot, but like to ask how to install it. Do I take the lower shaft out of the upper shaft? There appears to be a roll or shear pin between them, should I push or drill it out? or can the seal be stretched over the swivel end? Thanks, Bob

Intermediate steering shaft seal

Never mind, as usual I found my answer with a search after posting the question. Apparently the swivel pin at the top must be pressed out to change the seal. I have a press so its no problem. Thanks anyway, Bob
