I am trying to find a source for the square nuts that appear to be pressed in to the fender (66 442) that the hood hinges bolt to. Mine were loose on one side when I took my hood off, and have gotten discarded. I want to try to weld some new nuts in place of the ones that came loose.

I have quite a few scrap fenders that could donate.

 

Fastenal has them. many hardware stores have a small assorted box of them also.
