If you're talking about the ones on the front fender, they're held on with studs and tinnerman nuts. You should be able to get to them from underneath the fender, but you may have to drop the fenderwell to get the back one, I can't remember.

What a lot of folks do with hard to access fasteners is use a putty knife and chop the mounting studs off. Then use some 3M molding tape to reattach.

If you can get the nuts off and remove the script with the studs intact, get some speed clips to reinstall. Those push into the stud hole on the fender, then you tap the script stud into them. You can usually pry the scripts off to polish and wax behind them after you install those.

If you are trying to save the studs you may want to shoot a little cr56 or wd40 on them before you take them apart. Living in Wisconsin, corrosion gets everywhere, and the pot metal seems to get brittle. I imagine it is the same for you unless lockport is in the southern tip someplace.
