Steering column adjustment?

I am changing from power to manual steering in my 64. It seems like there is more gap in the coupler/ragjoint area than there should be. I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the column in further towards the box. Any one have pics of their 64 or 65 in the ragjoint area so I can see if its actually normal?

Do you have pics of yours? May get more responses, pics are like a magnet here.

I have no experience with those but on my '71 the only place the column is held is two bolts under the dash. The plate on the firewall just clamps around the column. There is some in/out adjustment under the dash but not much on mine. Sometimes the shaft coupler has a little play (that piece in the middle with the rubber boot). Hopefully somebody will chime in with more knowledge than me for those years, that would be any knowledge at all.
