Should I check straightness of Frame?

I have the body off my 80 Olds cutlass...I have the frame sitting in my garage and I was wondering if I should check to make sure it is "Square" before I begin to clean and paint it?

If I do what would I measure?

The Chassis Service Manual shows where to measure, but basically you want to measure diagonals from reference bolt holes in the frame. The diagonal measurements should match within about a quarter inch or so.
