This company has both bolt-on and Bond-on hood scoops.

That is called a cowl induction hood. They almost always come as part of a complete hood. I have seen fiberglass scoops only, but that was a while ago. Check with the usual fiberglass parts vendors. I can guarantee you won't find a complete cowl hood for a 1979 Olds full size.

That should add at least 50hp to your 307.

Thanks guys,i will check out the website. yeah i guess its not complete fiberglass hoods out there for my car.

Eric: yes i hope so, lol , no i wounder if the bbo will be to high, but i will see, when it will be installed,or make some mencurments to see if it will work well with clearence.

I made a tall aircleaner bolt in the carb just to see what space i have, i have space as maybe 6-7" from the airfilter top to about 5-10mm under the hood, i hope the bbo with aftermarket intake with carb and 2" tall airfilter, will go clear under. the best ting if it will go clear. well i can always use the orginale intake if nessesary..
