Remedial question of the day...

On a 66 442, is it possible, or I should say not too difficult, to take off one of the doors without removing a front fender? I have a lower hinge that is sagging but I can't see an easy way to get to the bolts........
Thanks,
Randy

Randy, I can't see how this is any more difficult than taking the doors off any other car. Undo the 3 bolts that are on the top/bottom hinges attaching the door to the hinges. Scribe a line or use a felt pen to trace where they were originally attached so the reinstall goes easier for you.

On my car they are not bolts with hex heads, they have a phillips head. Gonna be hard to break loose........

Not that familiar with 66/67. Can you post a pic of that? If you're really worried about being able to break the screw loose, I'd start shooting penetrating oil into it, tap lightly with small hammer to help the fluid get into the threads. Repeat over a couple of days. Make sure you have the right size phillips head to bust that loose. A too small one will likely end up stripping the X pattern. I think they will come loose easier than you think. The bolts that are really tough are the ones that hold the rear seat belts...

You can buy 3/8 sockets now, with various sized phillips bits at Menards. Lifetime guarantee.
Still gonna be too long to get in there.
I've an electric impact and can drive 4" drywall screws through a 4 X 4 with it!
I'd remove the fender, and replace the screws with bolts at the same time.
Hit it with PB Blaster overnight.
