Passenger side (remote) mirror on '72 98

My car did not come with a remote mirror on passenger door - and I'm constantly looking there as all my other vehicles have em. I see another '72 for sale locally and it has one. Not finding anything on ebay or the like - does anyone know a part number of maybe has one?? Thanks all.

My 71 doesn't have a passenger's mirror either. I'm not sure of the part number. If you want one you'll have to source it from a parts car or find one on EBay.

In looking through dealer specs books and brochures from those years, it appears that a passenger-side rearview mirror was not offered, even as an option, on a 98 until the 1976 model year. Custom Cruisers could be gotten with one, but not for their first year, 1971. Only for '72 and later. I would guess that a passenger-side mirror for a Custom Cruiser would fit a same-year 88 or 98 with no issues, and I'm guessing that many owners opted to have one added by their dealer (or put it on themselves) back in the day. If you're looking for a mirror on ebay, it might be good to search for Custom Cruiser mirrors instead of 98 or 88 mirrors. Probably hard to come by, though.

Keep in mind also that the passenger-side rearview mirror on the Custom Cruisers was not remote-control.
