Lower steering shaft pot joint - 68 442

Since the seal on my pot joint needed to be replaced, I removed and disassembled the lower shaft only to discover that the splines in the pot joint are stripped. I'm not sure how this happens, given the way the pot joint is clamped down on the upper shaft spline, but the splines inside the pot joint are almost totally gone. (Interestingly, the splines on the upper shaft where the pot joint slides over appear to be fine) While it is easy enough to find the replacement rubber seal, I can't seem to locate a new pot joint. Now, if I'm not mistaken, GM A-Body cars all had interchangeable steering setups, and I should be able to use the lower shaft/pot joint from any of these cars - is that correct?

If not, does anyone know where I can get a new pot joint? I've tried all the usual suspects - OPG, Fusick, Oldsparts (Brothers), Summit, Jegs, Flaming River, Borgeson - no luck.

No luck with Parts Place. Best I can determine, no one is making these things new. Garrett at Brothers has been a big help and is sending me a used shaft with a very nice pot joint. Thanks!
